THIS IS HOW YOUR CURLING STICKS WILL REMAIN LONG-LASTING AND

In perfect shape

To ensure your wooden curling sticks retain their quality for many years, you will find all the important information on storage, cleaning and care here.

Care instructions for wooden eating sticks

The curling sticks are generally delivered ready for use, however you should take the following into account.

  • Never soak the curling stick in water or expose it to prolonged water exposure during the first winter.
  • Do not expose the curling stick to dry heated air (the garage or simply the trunk of the car is best suited for temporary storage).
  • Do not wax or varnish the curling stick, as the wood will then be unable to release the absorbed water.
  • Allow the curling stick to dry slightly after the last shot and then store it in a plastic bag.
  • Do not store the plastic bag in excessively hot conditions or protect it from direct sunlight.
  • As a general rule, always check 1 week before the first shooting session whether the ring is still sitting properly (i.e., tap it from the side with a hammer).
  • If the ring is no longer firmly in place, the distance between the ring and the wood is important.
  • If the ring sounds loose, place the curling stick on a wet cloth for 3 to 7 days.
  • With a visible distance, place the curling stick in 1-2 cm of water.
  • Please check every day that the ring is still fitting properly.
  • Caution: Over-soaking will damage the curling stick!

If you follow these instructions, you will enjoy your new curling stick for a long time.
